These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern registration and attendance at any event, virtual or in-person (each, an “Event”), organized by SaaStanak d.o.o., a Croatian entity with registered office at Braće Radić 30B, 10410 Velika Gorica, Croatia (“SaaStanak”), as well as use of website(s) owned and operated by SaaStanak. These Terms are binding on all persons who register for or attend SaaStanak Events or use SaaStanak website(s). By using SaaStanak website(s), or registering for or attending an Event, you agree to be bound by these Terms, which you have read and understood, and to review and comply fully with all other rules, instructions, and guidelines provided by SaaStanak or an Event venue.If you are not authorized or do not agree to any of these Terms, you may not use SaaStanak website(s) or register for or attend any Events.
You must be at least 18 years old to attend or partipate in an Event.
You are solely responsible for determining whether a visa is required to attend an Event, and for acquiring any such visa. SaaStanak will not issue refunds for failure to obtain a visa.
You may be asked to present a valid photo ID to enter an Event.
All backpacks, bags, packages, and other containers are subject to search at an Event.
You are responsible for advising SaaStanak of any special accommodations you require at the time of registration. SaaStanak will assist where possible.
SaaStanak may deny entry or participation in an Event or remove any attendee for any violation of these Terms or other rules, instructions, requests, and guidelines.
SaaStanak may deny entry or participation in an Event or remove any attendee if, in its sole discretion, it determines that such person poses a health or safety risk to any person or entity at an Event, or has behaved or is behaving in a disruptive, harassing, or threatening manner.
Unless otherwise agreed pursuant to a separate, signed agreement, all fees related to attendance at and participation in an Event, including registration and sponsorship fees (“Event Fees”), are due in full immediately on registration. Payment may be made by wire transfer. Event Fees are non-refundable and non-cancellable. In its sole discretion, SaaStanak may deny participation in or attendance at an Event or refuse any other Event-related benefit for failure to pay all Event Fees before the start date of the applicable Event.
You may transfer your registration to another eligible person if you have not yet used it to attend or participate in the Event or otherwise utilize any Event-related benfit included in such registration.
SaaStanak and its Event sponsors and other authorized third parties may take photographs and audio or video recordings (each, a “Recording”) at Events. All Recordings are the property of SaaStanak. By registering for or attending any Event, you agree and acknowledge that SaaStanak, Event sponsors, or other authorized third parties may use such Recordings in any format or medium in marketing materials or for promotional purposes, and you grant SaaStanak the right to use and license use of your voice, image, or likeness, with or without using your name, for such purposes without payment or other consideration. You waive any right to inspect or approve Recordings, and you agree to hold SaaStanak harmless against any liability arising out of the use of Recordings. In its sole discretion, SaaStanak may limit or prohibit Recordings by any other person in attendance at an Event.
In its sole discretion, SaaStanak may make changes to Events, including schedule, agenda, venue, and speakers. SaaStanak does not guarantee any specific activity or speaker or any other component of an Event. SaaStanak will make reasonable efforts to notify you as soon as possible of any Event delays or interruptions and provide suitable alternatives or substitutions, as appropriate, but does not offer refunds for any Event changes beyond its reasonable control.
SaaStanak cares about your privacy. As further described in its Privacy Policy, SaaStanak will comply with applicable data privacy laws. SaaStanak collects, uses, and shares data you submit for Event registration with its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and other agents and representatives (together, “SaaStanak Representatives”), and Event service providers, vendors, sponsors, and partners to provide Event services, facilitate your attendance at and participation in the Event, improve your experience at the Event, distribute marketing and promotional materials, or as otherwise indicated in the registration process. SaaStanak also collects and uses your personal data to analyze, improve, support, and operate its website(s) and services. By using the SaaStanak website(s), registering for, or attending an Event, you consent to your personal data being collected, used, transferred to, an processed in accordance with SaaStanak’s Privacy Policy and these Terms.
SaaStanak’s website(s) may contain links to other websites or other content owned, operated, or provided by third parties. Third parties, including service providers and Event sponsors and attendees, may also display or distribute their content or otherwise promote their products and services at Events. SaaStanak has no control over and makes no representations regarding accuracy of third party websites or content. Your engagement with or use of third party websites and content is at your own risk, and you should review applicable terms and conditions. Under no circumstances will SaaStanak be deemed liable or have any obligations whatsoever in relation to third party websites and content.
You understand and agree that the SaaStanak website(s), Events, and all Event-related benefts are provided “as is,” and SaaStanak disclaims all warranties of any kind, express or implied. SaaStanak makes no warranty or representation about results that may be obtained from sponsorship of, participation in, or attendance at any Events. To the fullest extent permissible by applicable law, SaaStanak disclaims all liability for any content or materials displayed or distributed at or related to Events or on its website(s).
Uvođenjem odgovarajućih mjera zaštite i redovnim nadzorom njihove primjene nastojimo kontinuirano podizati razinu sigurnosti u svim obradama osobnih podataka. SaaStanak d.o.o. koristi niz tehničkih i organizacijskih mjera zaštite podataka korisnika od neovlaštenog uvida osoba unutar i izvan SaaStanak d.o.o., izmjene, gubitka, krađe i bilo koje druge povrede i zlouporabe podataka u skladu s aktualnim propisima u Republici Hrvatskoj, kao i najboljom europskom praksom.
Neither SaaStanak nor any SaaStanak Representatives shall be liable in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence) or otherwise to any Event registrant, attendee, sponsor, or any other person or entity associated with Event registration or sponsorship for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, consequential, or exemplary damages, including, but not limited to, loss of revenue, data, reputation, or profits, even if foreseeable, arising out of these Terms, use of SaaStanak’s website(s), or in relation to any Event. SaaStanak’s maximum liability for all claims arising out of these Terms, use of SaaStanak’s website(s), or in relation to any Event shall not exceed, in the aggregate, the amount you paid to SaaStanak in the 6 months preceding the date a claim or demand is first asserted.
SaaStanak is not liable for any damage or loss arising out of change, substitution, delay, rescheduling, or cancellation of an Event as a result of any circumstances beyond its reasonable control that render SaaStanak’s performance illegal, impossible, inadvisable, or commercially impractical in SaaStanak’s reasonable discretion. If an Event is delayed, canceled, or rescheduled for these or any other reasons, your sole remedy shall be access to the rescheduled or replacement Event, or a refund of Event Fees less any Event-related benefit provided by SaaStanak, as decided in SaaStanak’s sole discretion.
You shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SaaStanak and SaaStanak Representatives from and against any claims, damages, demands, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with participation in or attendance at any Event or use of any SaaStanak website(s), your failure to comply with rules, instructions, or guidelines of the Event or Event venue, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms and any claims arising out of or in connection with them or any SaaStanak website(s) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Croatia without regard to its conflict of laws principles. The Croatian courts in Zagreb shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear, determine, and settle any matter arising out of or in connection with these Terms or any SaaStanak website(s), and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Croatian courts in Zagreb for that purpose.
Failure of SaaStanak to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of future enforcement of that or any other provision.
These Terms, together with SaaStanak’s Privacy Policy available at https://saastanak.com/privacy-policy/, constitute the entire agreement between you and SaaStanak and supersede any prior understandings, written or oral, relating to this subject matter.
In the event any portion of these Terms is declared invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.
SaaStanak may update these Terms at any time in its sole discretion. If SaaStanak makes any material changes to these Terms, it will take reasonable steps to notify you via notification on its website(s) or via email. Any access or use by you after SaaStanak publishes updated Terms means you consent to and accept such changes.
