Reflecting on SaaStanak 2025: A Breakthrough Event for the SaaS Community

SaaStanak 2025 felt like a true breakthrough for us – a moment when our vision for a genuine, community-driven conference really came to life. We set out to create an event that wasn’t just about business, but about building lasting relationships and meaningful connections. Here’s a look back at what made this year special and where we’re heading next.

1) Choosing the Right Venue – The Perfect Backdrop

Amadria Park, nestled on the beautiful Šibenik coastline, was the perfect choice for our second edition. It’s a place where the sea meets the sky, where conversations flow as naturally as the waves, and where the backdrop makes every moment feel special. The venue had it all – from sprawling conference spaces to beachside bars and even a mini-golf course – setting the perfect tone for a tight-knit SaaS community.

2) Navigating the Logistics of a Growing Event

Hosting 300 people in a 1500+ room hotel complex was a logistical mountain, but we did it. Our mornings were in the convention center, and afternoons moved to the Mediterranean city, split across three tracks. Ana nailed the speaker lineup and kept the agenda on point, while Ema made sure every attendee had the info they needed at every step. It was a massive team effort, and we pulled it off.

3) Weather – The Unpredictable Challenge

Outdoor events are a gamble. Day 1 forced us to swap a planned Paddle and saas.group boat tour for a cocktail workshop thanks to rough weather. But when the sun finally broke through on Day 3, we managed to pull together an impromptu boat tour – a perfect, memorable way to wrap things up. It’s a reminder that flexibility is key in this business.

4) Content That Resonates

We aimed for real, impactful content – and I think we nailed it. Marko Kovač’s Chatham House session hit hard, moving the audience to tears and standing ovations. Igor, Faris, Ana & Tina supported our speakers every step of the way, creating a safe space for real stories to be shared. My own session with Nenad was the toughest public speaking I’ve ever done, but his energy and emotion made it unforgettable.

5) The Power of Hospitality

Balkans are known for hospitality, and our team delivered. From Tomislav’s airport pickups to Marija and Anastas working tirelessly behind the scenes, every detail was handled with care. It’s those small touches that make people feel at home and turn guests into friends.

6) Building Real Business Relationships

We intentionally avoided the typical trade show feel, focusing instead on authentic conversations. It paid off. People like Christopher & Kelsey from Captivate Talent, Dirk Sahlmer & Visesh from saas.group, Jeko Kolev & the Nextoria team, Sara Archer from ChartMogul, Stefan & the Expandi.io crew, and Andrew Davies & the Paddle team didn’t just network – they made real connections that will last.

Shoutout to Productive, Lemax, Ilej & partners, Treblle & SQ Capital, Sedmi Odjel d.o.o., Exoscale, and Bouncer for their support. You’re more than just sponsors – you’re part of this community.

7) Real-Time Content and Community

Our media team crushed it. Anita, Emily, and Marko delivered live updates, aftermovies, and social posts in real time – even while partying at night. Their hustle kept the momentum going and made sure the memories of this event are captured forever.

8) What’s Next? SaaStanak 2026

We’re already looking ahead to next year. Mark your calendars – May 25-27, 2026. Sun, sea, SaaS – let’s do it all over again.
